ULE Alliance certifies AT4 testing services labs
The ULE Alliance has selected AT4 wireless as the Certification Testing Laboratory and Qualification Body for the ULE Certification Program. The ULE Certification Process ensures interoperability of ULE devices across multiple vendors verifying Services and Interfaces according to the requirements defined by the ULE HAN-FUN application layer specifications. During 2014, AT4 wireless has been collaborating with the ULE Alliance in the development of the Certification Program, including the Test Specifications, Test Procedures and Test Bed.
AT4 wireless said it is now open to offer services for the certification of devices built to ULE Alliance global standards to members seeking a ULE Alliance seal of interoperability.
"We want to thank the ULE Alliance for this designation. AT4 wireless is the first laboratory to offer ULE Alliance testing services worldwide. AT4 wireless has been collaborating with ULE Alliance in the development of the certification program and certification requirements and we are really excited about the ULE Alliance certification program's first certification wave,” said Jose de la Plaza, Corporate Laboratories Director at AT4 wireless.
"This new service allows us to extend our portfolio of testing and certification services that already includes the largest testing capacity and coverage in the key mobile and wireless technologies: 2G, 3G, HSPA+, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wireless Charging (PMA/A4WP), Mirrorlink, NFC, Continua and IoT, and strengthens our position as the leading laboratory for manufacturers of wireless devices."

DSP Group's DECT/CAT-iq/ULE SoC adds HD Voice to MitraStar gateways
DSP Group and MitraStar Technology, a leader in networking DMS industry, announced today that DSP Group's DCX81 DECT/CAT-iq/ULE System on a Chip (SoC) will be integrated in MitraStar's new gateways.
DSP Group's DECT/CAT-iq/ULE SoC offers full home coverage, wideband audio (HD voice) and ULE support for home automation and security at an attractive cost/performance ratio. Supporting multiple lines and handsets and in- field software upgradability, DSP Group's SoC reference design enables home gateway developers to rapidly bring to market products complying with the CAT-iq 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0 standards.

NEC wins award for SV9000 UCC platform
NEC has announced that TMC, a global, integrated media company, has named the UNIVERGE SV9000 series, the company’s latest line of software-based communications servers, a recipient of a 2015 Internet Telephony Product of the Year Award.
